From the very beginning bluebird artists has been focusing on freshness and new talents. According to this idea a new DoP – Beata Rakoczy just joined their team.

Beata was born in Katowice where she graduated Krzysztof Kieslowski Film School. Since then she works on features, commercials, documentaries and music videos. She was awarded for the best camerawork for “By Halves” at Moscow Shorts – International Short Film Festival and for “Wiem” at International Festival Watersprite in Cambridge, UK. Document “Miss Holocaust” got to the official selection for the best short movie at 67^th Berlinale Festival.

She focuses on creating an individual language of colours, composition, and camera movement for every project. She pays particular attention to storytelling – there is no good picture without a good story behind. She partners with directors, from the stage of script analysis, to translate their vision into images. She strongly believes in teamwork as a keystone of the creative process of film making.
